  • DIY Candy Jar Workshop (adults). 11:30 a.m. Reston Regional Library. Reston. (free, but advance registration is required and opens October 11).
  • Herndon Spooktacular (kids ages 3 – 8 and their parents/guardians). Magic show, treats and more. Herndon Community Center, Herndon. $15 at the door.
  • Ghost and Graveyard Tour. 7:30 p.m. Old Town Alexandria, $15.
  • Fields of Fear. 7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Cox Farms, Centreville. $20 – $35.
  • Jack’s Pumpkin Glow jack o’lantern outdoor display. Lake Fairfax Park, Reston. $23.
