Farewell, Halloween…Hello, Thanksgiving

Today I finally got around to taking down the Halloween decorations, and I’m already thinking about Thanksgiving.  I have my son this year (I share custody with my ex-husband), so this Thanksgiving is extra special for me.

I have made Thanksgiving dinner before, and I enjoy cooking.  I don’t even mind the leftovers, although with only two in the family, we tend to have a lot of turkey left over.  But my preference on Thanksgiving — especially when it’s just the two of us — is to let someone else do the cooking.

For the next few posts, I’ll share some of my favorite places to celebrate Thanksgiving.  And if you’re ready to start thinking about Christmas and New Year’s, please check out my Christmas blog, Cool Yule.
