Cosy up with a Fall cocktail at Clyde’s

Clyde’s invents new seasonal cocktails and what they have lined up for fall and winter are right in the spirit of this blog: how about a Caramel Apple Martini, Rumpkin Pie, or Midnight Mimosa?  The drinks are $9.25.  You don’t get a break on drinks during Happy Hour (Monday-Friday, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.) but you can get a crabcake sandwich for $8, and I think it’s the best in town.

Which of these fall cocktails would be your favorite?

  1. Cathy Cromley says:

Hi – Do you know the proportions for the Midnight Mimosa recipe?

  2. Clyde’s says: “It’s Prosecco, Chambord, Pineapple Juice and splash of Roses Lime Juice in Champagne Flute…Cherry Garnish…I might have one right now!”

The traditional mimosa calls for equal parts champagne and juice. So if it were me making this, I would use these proportions: 2 oz of Prosecco, 1-1/2 oz of pineapple juice and 1/4 oz (or less of Chambord), top w/a spash of Rose’s Lime Juice.” I might go heavier on the Prosecco to keep it bubbly…
